No Go: Suspected Robber Gives Up After Hair Salon Employee Laughs Off Demands

Police say a hair salon receptionist laughed off a robbery suspect's demands, and he eventually gave up and left the business. He was later arrested.

The receptionist at an Annapolis hair salon laughed off the demands of a robber, who eventually gave up, chatted with the woman and then left, say Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The suspect entered the Bubbles Hair Salon located at 2564 Solomons Island Road in Annapolis about 5 p.m. Wednesday and announced a robbery.

His arm and hand were under his shirt, implying that the suspect had a weapon, although he never showed or said he had one. Police said he repeated his demands, but the receptionist laughed, not believing the suspect was serious. He then created small talk before leaving the building.
