One Arrested in Stabbing at Fuji Steakhouse

Police said two men fought in the kitchen. One allegedly struck the other with a frying pan and the other swung back with a knife.

Anne Arundel County Police arrested an employee at the Fuji Steakhouse in Gambrills on Wednesday, alleging that he struck another worker with a knife during a fight in the restaurant's kitchen. 

Police said they responded at about 3:40 p.m. and spoke with a 30-year-old man who had cuts to his head, arms and legs. Officers learned that the victim had gotten into a fight with another worker in the kitchen, and hit him with a frying pan. The other worker, identified as 26-year-old Li Chen of Washington, DC, responded by striking the victim with a knife. 

The victim in this case was treated for injuries at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Chen was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, according to a release. 

Police said potential charges are pending against the victim for his role in the altercation.
