Police Arrest 2 After Drug Bust in Gambrills

Police executed a warrant at a home on Davidsonville Road and found more than 400 grams of marijuana.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men following an investigation into drug activity at a house in Gambrills. 

Police said they executed a warrant on Monday night in the 2300 block of Davidsonville Road, and found more than 400 grams of marijuana worth about $8,100 and more than $900 in cash. 

Detectives also seized a 2006 Chrysler 300 car.

Police arrested Joshua Venson, 24, and Otho Alexander, 35, and charged them with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute.

The drug bust was carried out by members of the county police Special Operations Section and the Tactical Narcotics and Tactical Patrol Unit from Western District.
