Police: Man Stole Copper from BGE Plant

Police have released images of a man suspected of taking copper from the BGE facility on Waugh Chapel Road.

Anne Arundel County police have released a photo of a man suspected of stealing copper from the BGE substation on Waugh Chapel Road last week. 

Police said they believe the theft of copper took place on Oct. 16 when a man cut through a hole in the substation fence. The BGE substation has been the site of numerous similar thefts in the past, police said. 

Anyone who knows the identity of the photographed person is asked to contact Detective Dutton of the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-6155.
