Police Search for Suspect in Gambrills 7-Eleven Robbery

A man robbed the store, located at the intersection of Waugh Chapel Road and Route 3, at knife point early on Sunday morning, according to police.

County police said a man robbed the 7-Eleven in the 800 block of Waugh Chapel Road near the intersection of Route 3 in Gambrills early on Sunday morning.

Police received a report at 1:53 a.m. and spoke with the store clerk who said a man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off in an unknown direction.

Officers were unable to locate the man. Police said the man is white, in his 30s, around 6 feet tall with a large stomach, wearing a brown and white baseball cap, a red bandanna, yellow mirrored sun glasses, a red sleeveless T-shirt with a white design on the front, faded blue jeans and black athletic shoes.
