Police Seek Suspects in Shaftsbury Ave. Burglary
County and Crofton Police are looking for two suspects in a Tuesday burglary. Crofton Police say the Shaftsbury Avenue afternoon burglary may be connected to several recent incidents in the area.
Crofton Police are looking for the susupects in a burglary on Shatfsbury Avenue.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday according to a press release from police. CPD officials stated the bruglary may be related to at least two other incidents in the Crofton area (outside the Tax District).
According to the release, the suspects were possibly sitting in the vehicle for a considerable time on the street near the target home before the burglary occurred.

Suspect #1 (Vehicle Driver) :
- White female
- Mid-to-late 20’s
- Large build
- Unkempt appearance
- Light colored hair (possibly in a ponytail)
Suspect #2 (Vehicle Passenger)

- White male
- Thin physical build
- Late teens to early 20’s
- Last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap
- Unkempt in appearance
- Dark colored back pack
- Seen smoking in the vehicle
Suspect Vehicle :
- A mid to late 1990’s 2-door sedan (possibly a Pontiac Grand Am)
- Dark green, but looks black in color
- May have a loud exhaust system.
- May have a bright red interior (or there may have been a large bright red item in the vehicle on Oct. 11).
Corftonites and Gambrills residents are encouraged to alert police if you spot these suspects or their car in the area.
