Two Charged in Crofton Drug Bust

Selkirk Court drug bust nets more than $1,700 in cocaine, designer drugs, paraphernalia and a gun.

Two Crofton men have been charged in connection to a drug bust on Selkirk Court. It happened around 3 p.m. on Sept. 2 at their home in the 2500 block, according to an Anne Arundel County police press release.

Special Enforcement officers executed a search and seizure warrant bringing an end to an investigation into drug activity at the home.

According to the release, detectives on the scene recovered:

  • .40 Caliber handgun and drug paraphernalia
  • 472 suspected Aprazolam pills valued at $145
  • 2.7 grams of suspected cocaine worth $270
  • 53 suspected Suboxone pills valued at $1,325
  • $216 in U.S. currency from drug gains

Jabar Anthony Ali, 33, was charged with five counts of cocaine distribution. Ali was also charged with multiple possession and conspiracy to distribute charges relating to their alleged proximity to a school.

Marcus Leantoine Redman, 25, was charged with Xanax/Alprazolam and Suboxone possession with intent to distribute. Redman was also charged with several drug possession and conspiracy charges related to allegedly being within 1,000 feet of a school.
