Three people were hurt Tuesday night following a two-car collision in Crofton, emergency officials said.
Police and fire officials said the crash happened at about 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Route 450 and Hallmark Drive.
Anne Arundel County Police said the crash happened when a 1999 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Route 450 when it crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Mazda 3 coming the opposite way.
Police identified the driver of the Honda as Daniel James Pfarr, 34, of Crofton.
He was transported to Shock Trauma and is in critical condition, police said.
A 17-year-old girl who was the driver of the Mazda also sustained minor injuries and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center. A 17-year-old male passenger in the Mazda also sustained minor injuries.
Police said that speed may have been a factor in the crash, but there was no evidence of alcohol consumed by either driver.
