Two Women Charged in Connection with Stoneham Road Stabbing

Anne Arundel County Police released details on a Tuesday stabbing in Crofton.

Anne Arundel County officers responded to a reported stabbing at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday. It happened in the 1400 block of Stoneham Road. They said they found a 47-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a police release.

Officers also said they found two women in the victim’s gray Infinity northbound on Route 450 near West Street.

A search of the women uncovered what is suspected to be cocaine, police said.

According to the release, preliminary investigation revealed the victim reportedly picked up the women in Baltimore and brought them to his home in Crofton.

An altercation reportedly broke out at the home and the victim was in stabbed in the upper extremity in the process.

The unidentified victim was transported to the Shock Trauma center in Baltimore with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Tracie Marie Fox, 23, of the 800 block of Windstream Way, Edgewood was charged with unauthorized use, theft under $100 and possession of controlled dangerous substance.

Shalonda Scott, 20, of the 1200 block of Dru Hill Avenue, Baltimore also was charged with unauthorized use and theft under $100.

The investigation continues into what caused the stabbing.
