Crofton MARC Riders: Beware of Schedule Change

The MARC Penn Line will undergo a schedule change on March 25, with several tweaks to the evening rush hour trains. 

This change could affect any Crofton residents who commute out of the Odenton MARC station or other stops on the Penn Line. 

Here are the adjustments, according to an email sent by MARC officials.

Evening Service:

-Train 641 (currently the 4:00pm departure from Martin Airport) will leave 10 minutes earlier, but serve scheduled stops Penn Station and south at the current times.

-Train 436 (5:10pm departure from Union Station) will be extended to Perryville, stopping at Martin Airport, Edgewood, Aberdeen and Perryville and will be renumbered to Train 536.  It will retain its current stops south of Baltimore (New Carrollton, Odenton, and Halethorpe).

-Train 538 (5:20pm departure from Union Station) will terminate in Baltimore and be renumbered Train 438.  It will retain its current stops south of Baltimore (BWI Marshall Airport and West Baltimore).

-Train 640 (5:25pm departure from Union Station) will terminate at Penn Station and be renumbered Train 440.

-Train 442 (5:50pm departure from DC) will operate through to Martin Airport and be renumbered Train 642.

Morning Service:

-Train 425 (currently the 9:40am departure from Penn Station) will depart 15 minutes earlier.

-Train 427 (currently the10:50am departure from Penn Station) will depart 20 minutes earlier and add Halethorpe and Seabrook stops.
