The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter (NACAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is hosting a community engagement event on Saturday, 25 Feb 2012, 11am to 130pm, Arundel Middle School (Cafeteria), 1179 Hammond Ln, Odenton, MD 21113. This event will be in the form of a Government Awareness Forum & Voter Registration Drive. The Social and Political Action Committee of NACAC will be hosting the event.
The purpose of this community engagement event, tailored for Anne Arundel County residents, is to provide a general awareness of county government and how it functions, important agencies and boards within the county that work on behalf of residents, provide information on important upcoming events such as the Presidential Primary Elections, inform residents on how to contact their elected officials, how to become more engaged within their county regarding social and political activism, and of course, voter registration activities.
