Reilly To Seek Re-Election to State Senate

The lawmaker from Crofton hopes to serve four more years in the General Assembly.

Sen. Ed Reilly (R-District 33A) said he will seek re-election to the Maryland General Assembly in 2014. 

Reilly, who is from Crofton, will seek another four years in the Senate—the last two of which saw him rise to the Minority Whip. 

"I will continue to advocate for strong family values and our hard-working small businesses,” he said in a press release.

Reilly, often referred to as "Big Ed," is currently the senior Republican on the Senate's Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee. 

Before joining the Senate, he represented District 7 on the Anne Arundel County Council. He is employed as an agent with Nationwide Insurance.
