Social Services Advisory Board Seeks Members

Annapolis, MD - County Executive John R. Leopold is seeking applicants to serve as members of the Advisory Board for the County's Department of Social Services.

The 13 member Board serves as an advisory board to the Social Services Director.  It also provides financial assistance and necessary human services to the county's most needy citizens, and acts as liaison to the community and the Maryland Department of Human Resources. Members advocate for needed programs and services and seek funding for programs not funded by Federal, State or local resources. 

Members meet monthly and serve three year term terms.
