West County Library to Host Early Voting

Registered voters can begin voting as early as Oct. 27 at several locations in Anne Arundel County.

The West County Area Library in Odenton will be one of five facilities open for early voting in the upcoming general election. 

Voters can cast their ballot as early as Oct. 27 at the library, located at 1325 Annapolis Rd.

The polls will be open for early voting from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on Sundays, when polls are open from noon to 6 p.m.

Residents of Anne Arundel County may vote early at any one of five locations, provided they are registered and eligible to vote. 

Aside from the West County Area Library, the other early voting centers are: 

North County Area Library- 1010 Eastway, Glen Burnie, 21060

Severna Park Library- 45 McKinsey Rd., Severna Park, 21146

Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis- 121 South Villa Ave., Annapolis, 21401

Edgewater Library- 25 Stepneys Ln., Edgewater, 21037

Voters may also cast their ballot on Election Day on Nov. 6 at their designated polling place.

Thanks for posting this, Tim! It will make things a good deal easier for those of us who reside in, but work a long commute from, Odenton.

Just curious, are these votes like absentee ballots? Only counted if there is a close call on one of the questions or positions?
