Athletic Director Named for Meade High School

Kevin Rutledge from Northeast High School has been named the new athletic director for Meade High School.

From a news release:

Kevin Rutledge has been named the new athletic director at Meade High School, according to a news release from Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

Rutledge has served as assistant athletic director for the last four years at Northeast High School. He also has coaching experience as the head boys’ lacrosse coach at Northeast, as well as an assistant boys’ basketball coach.

Rutledge, a registered athletic administrator and physical education teacher, earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Towson University.

He is currently a member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the Maryland State Athletic Director Association.
