The South River High School R.I.S.E to Interact Club teamed up with the Crofton Rotary Club to help out Sarah's House at Fort Meade.

According to the organization’s website, the mission of Sarah’s House is “to provide safe shelter, daily meals, personal, as well as professional casework support for those in need.” Located on the edge of Fort Meade, the shelter is one of seven shelters in the United States supported by the U.S. Army, according to the website.

R.I.S.E to Interact's Sarah Kelly and Crofton Rotary members Claudia McKibbin and Ed White bought more than 50 pairs of shoes for the children living at the shelter. They shared these photos from the service project on their Facebook page.
