Crofton Woods Returns to School Friday
Four days after Tropical Storm Irene, Crofton's final school closure is lifted.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools released the following statement Thursday afternoon:
With the exception of Marley Glen Special School, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open on time for students and staff on Friday, September 2. Marley Glen will continue to be closed tomorrow because of a lack of power. Parents of prekindergarten and kindergarten students at other schools should contact their child’s school prior to the start time to determine the status of the staggered entrances for those grades. Essential and emergency personnel at Marley Glen Special School must report to their work location as required.
