Parent Involvement Conference

Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Office of School and Family Partnerships, the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program, and the Title I Program, in partnership with Anne Arundel Community College, are sponsoring a parent involvement conference focused on eliminating the achievement gap.

The event is titled, "Strong Families, Strong Communities: Working Together to Eliminate the Achievement Gap."

The speaker will be Dr. John Hodge, a leading educational expert on student success. After his address, participants will form small discussion groups and have an opportunity to share their thoughts with others.

A continental breakfast will be provided. Registration is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Limited daycare is available for children ages 3 to 12, but pre-registration is required and can be done by calling 410-222-5309 during business hours.

Spanish and Korean interpreters will be available at the conference. To arrange for interpreters in other languages, call 410-222-5425.
