Nantucket Recognized for Good School Climate
Five schools in the county earned "school of the year" designations from the Maryland Center for Character Education
Nantucket Elementary School was among five county schools recently recognized for its positive school climate and academic performance.
Nantucket was named a "School of the Year" by the Maryland Center for Character Education, a non-profit that focuses on celebrating good school performance in the state.
Other recognized schools in Anne Arundel County include Jones Elementary School, Oakwood Elementary School, George Fox Middle School, and Mary Moss Academy. There were 38 schools recognized in Maryland.
