PHOTOS: Crofton Students Participate in Baysox Reading Night

Twenty-five schools from around the county were at Saturday night's Bowie Baysox game.

Anne Arundel County schools participated in the Read and Hit a Homerun Reading Night at the Bowie Baysox game on Saturday at Prince George's Stadium. Students from 25 area elementary and middle schools attended the game for free as a reward for participation in a reading program.

Among the crowd were students from and School of the Incarnation in Gambrills.

Students must read four books in exchange for one free ticket to a Bowie Baysox game on a specified date. Students may participate in a parade on the field before the start of the game.

The 25 Anne Arundel County schools at the game were also joined by students from Queen Anne’s and Howard counties.
