Why Go: Enjoy your school's skate night or practice during daytime public sessions. There are special times for tots, teens and families. Skating lessons are also offered  with advanced registration.

Father & Son Mini Golf Tournament

Where/When: Roger "Pip" Moyer Community Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD 21403/6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25

Why Go? Head to Annapolis where fathers and sons ages 3 to 10 can bond while playing mini golf -- and maybe win a prize -- at the city's recreation center.

Price: Per pair - $12 for nonresidents and $10 for city of Annapolis residents, $5 for each additional child  

 

Monster Jam

Where/When: 1st Mariner Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD 21201/ 7:30 p.m Feb. 25,  2  and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 and 2 p.m. Feb. 27

Why Go: It's fun for all ages to see monster trucks in action.

Price: $22 to $62, kids' tickets bought in advance online cost $10 for ages 2 to 12

 

CHESAPEAKE FAMILY SUMMER CAMP FAIR

Where/When: Annapolis Area Christian School, 716 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401/ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 26

Why Go: Although there's still snow on the ground in some areas of Crofton, it's time to register for summer camp. See more than 60 camps in one place.

Price: Free

 

Where/When: The LEGO Store, Westfield Annapolis Shopping Center, 2002 Annapolis Mall, Annapolis, MD 21401/ 5 p.m. March 1

Why: If your kids love LEGOs, head to Westfield Annapolis Shopping Center on the first Tuesday of the month. The store hosts free events for kids ages 6 to 14 to build a model and take it home.
