Two seniors from Arundel High School announced Wednesday that they will play sports at the collegiate level.
Tyler Young and Ashlee Felton took part in a signing ceremony at the school.
Young, of Crofton, has committed to play lacrosse at Towson University, while Felton will play volleyball while attending LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Both have been standout athletes at Arundel. Felton helped lead the volleyball team to back-to-back state finals in 2011 and 2012.
Young has been one of the top scorers for the Wildcats in lacrosse and has led the team to a perfect record this year. He also played wide receiver for the Arundel football team.
Felton said she was drawn to LaSalle after getting a chance to work out with the team earlier this year.
"I really liked the team and how well we worked together when I practiced with them," Felton said. "I really liked the chemistry. They were easy going and made me feel comfortable."
Young said he was drawn to Towson after an overnight visit, and said he was looking to attend a school close to home.
"They are an up and coming program with a young coaching staff," he said. "I just felt comfortable with the school."
