West County Weekend Preview

Looking for some things to do this weekend? Here are five events worth checking out in the Odenton, Severn and Crofton area.

Fall is in full swing, and there are plenty of events happening this weekend to take advantage. 

Check out these five events this weekend in west Anne Arundel County. 

Defending the Caveman at Arundel High

When: Saturday, 8 p.m.
Where: Arundel High School
Details: Come check out the traveling Broadway play, with proceeds going to support the Arundel High Class of 2013. Tickets are $35.  

Fall Festival at Roundz Gourmet - Crofton Food Pantry Benefit

When: Saturday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Roundz Gourmet Market & Catering, 2299 Johns Hopkins Rd., Gambrills.
Details: Roundz will host a fall festival featuring a pumpkin carving contest, free games and face painting and a special Halloween menu. All donations go to to support the food pantry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church.

Curves Women's Health Fair/10th Anniversary Celebration

When: Saturday, 9 a.m.
Where: Curves Odenton
Details: Help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Curves gym in Odenton, with free circuit and Zumba demonstrations, free food sample and jewelry for sale. Representatives from Nordstroms will also be on hand to provide fittings. 

Homebuyer's Seminar at Waugh Chapel

When: Saturday, 1 p.m.
Where: Village at Waugh Chapel Community Center
Details: Local real estate and industry experts will be on hand to discuss market conditions and offer tips to those looking to buy a home. The seminar is free.

Indoor Flea Market at Fort Meade 

When: Saturday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Meade High School 
Details: Vendors and crafters will be on hand for this big indoor fair. Pay $2 for early entry at 8 a.m., or come in free at 9 a.m.
