YOUR PHOTOS: Fort Meade Soldiers Give Back to Crofton Meadows Student Volunteers

Fort Meade soldiers spent playtime with students at Crofton Meadows Elementary School. USO volunteer Nicole Orme shares photos with Crofton Patch.

USO volunteer Nicole Orme helped  make gifts for soldiers at Fort Meade. The students created 250 laminated placemats as gifts for troops.

Those placemats were used Nov. 22 when Orme led an army of volunteers serving dinner to more than 300 troops at the “.” The servicemen and women are members of the Defense Information School.

The servicemen and women returned the favor to the children with a trip to the school to spend time with the youngsters.
