Are You Ready for Some Crofton Football?
The Crofton Athletic Council will host a pep rally Friday at Cardinal Park.
Hundreds of young athletes and their families will descend on Cardinal Park on Friday night, as Crofton Football holds its season kickoff pep rally.
The pep rally is expected to attract about 300 players, plus cheerleaders and families, organizers said.
Members of the Washington Redskins cheerleading squad will also there to offer information in a new camp in the Washington, DC, area.
Head First will be on hand to offer information on concussions and to give parents the chance to get their children baseline tested prior to the season.
The kickoff pep rally will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Cardinal Park.
Pre-season youth football games start Saturday, with regular season games the following week.
