Arundel Volleyball Returns to State Final Four

The Wildcats won their third straight regional title and will make another attempt at a state championship.

The Arundel volleyball team will take another stab at state title, after earning its third straight regional championship with a win over Severna Park on Friday.

The Wildcats secured a 3-1 win over the Falcons for the Class 4A East title, and will now face Eleanor Roosevelt in the state final four.

The teams will face off Thursday at 8 p.m. at Ritchie Coliseum in College Park. Both squads are undefeated.

Arundel is looking to return to the state title game, where it lost last year to Sherwood High. It also lost to Sherwood in the state semifinal in 2010.

Sherwood is back in the state final four and faces Walter Johnson High on Thursday.

Will the Arundel volleyball team seal the deal and win the program's first-ever state title?
