BASKETBALL: Arundel Boys Look to Keep Rolling

Arundel hosts Chesapeake Thursday in the MPSSAA Class 4A tourney.

The second round of the MPSSAA basketball playoffs will kick off Thursday, with several local teams in action.

Arundel earned a first-round bye setting up a game against Chesapeake at 6 p.m.

The South River boys have already been eliminated from the playoff field after a first-round loss to Glen Burnie.

For local teams, Thursday's boys schedule is as follows:

Arundel (1) vs. Chesapeake (7) - 6 p.m.

Meade (3) vs. Great Mills (6) - 6:45 p.m.

Old Mill (4) vs. Severna Park (5) - 6 p.m.

If Arundel and Meade each win, Arundel would host Meade on Tuesday, March 5. Old Mill would play either top-seeded North Point or host No. 8 Glen Burnie.

The full bracket of the basketball playoffs is attached.
