Catch a Special Thrill (C.A.S.T.) Fishing Program

Children ages 6-18 with disabilities are invited to participate in this free fishing tutorial sponsored by the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation and the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks. Volunteers will provide boats for the youth to experience a morning on the Chesapeake Bay. Participants will learn how to fish and go home with their very own fishing reel! The program is open on a first come, first serve basis and can accomodate 40 students with one parent or guardian. Participants are encouraged to pre-register by October 17 with Recreation Supervisor Wendy Scarborough at 410-222-7313, ext. 3554 or by e-mail at rpscar88@aacounty.org.
