GORC Wildcats vs Crofton Cardinals
The 2011 AAYFA youth football regular season gets off to a great start matching rivals GORC and Crofton.
Since the first week of AAYFA youth football was lost last week due to hurricane Irene, this marked first weekend of regular season games.
One marquee match up was a re-match of last year's 12U championship between the GORC Wildcats and the Crofton Cardinals.
The Varsity-U teams played on Friday, Sept 2 at GORC field. GORC dominated on both offense and defense resulting in a 36-6 win.
Another highly anticipated matchup took place on Saturday, Sept 3 when GORC's 100lbs team hosted Crofton at Arundel High School.

Crofton started its season by taking the opening kickoff all the way for a score. They eventually cruised to a 38-0 victory.
