Integrity 2017 Lacrosse Team Wins Upper Atlantic Tournament

Team members include girls from Bowie and all over Anne Arundel County—including Crofton, Odenton, Annapolis, Davidsonville and Edgewater.

The following was submitted to Patch by Christine Kerr.

The 2017 Integrity Lacrosse team returned from Downingtown, PA, on June 8th, site of the 2012 Girls Upper Atlantic Lacrosse Tournament, as Champions. Battling 100+ degree temperatures in this two day tournament, the team won their pool with victories over: SPLax Blue (Severna Park, MD), Diamonds Lacrosse Club (Baltimore, MD), and a great game against Long Island Liberty Lax (Long Island, NY). They then went on to compete against the undefeated winner of Pool B, Team Dynamite (the PA hometown favorite) to win the Championship (9-7).

The UALT Integrity Team Offense: Mckenzie Jackson, Kate Gott, Caroline Kerr, Stephanie King, Hailey Maranto & Jara Matlick.

With a special thanks to Jaclyn Little (Midfield) and Delaney Sancomb (Defense) who, although injured for the tournament, were a huge support and inspiration for the team! As well as Gillian Adkins (Attack), Brianna Gulakowski (Attack), Jordan Kahler (GK) & Olivia Laabs (Defense).

Coaches Tara Restly, Megan Fitzgerald and Emily Dashiell look forward to the young ladies from Anne Arundel County (Crofton, Gambrills, Bowie, Edgewater, Odenton, Davidsonville and Annapolis) continuing to work hard and improve as they head to the Club National Championships in Germantown, MD, later this week.

Patch wishes the team luck as they head to the national championships!
