Q&A: Crofton Middle 'Music Man' Star Cami Gore

Cami Gore, 13, plays a primary dancer in Crofton Middle School's presentation of "The Music Man."

"The Music Man" will debut at Crofton Middle School on March 8 and in preparation for the show Patch caught up with several members of the cast.

Seventh-grader Cami Gore, spoke with Patch about the show and why you should make sure you have tickets.

Crofton Patch: What is your character or role in the production?
Cami Gore: Primary Dancer

Crofton Patch: What is your favorite part of the show or why should people come see it?
Cami: My favorite part is the library scene. It's really funny and the primary dancers have a routine during it. People should come see the show because everyone has put so much work into it. There is lots of singing and dancing, and it is very entertaining. We promise it will be a hit!

Crofton Patch: What is your favorite show or musical you have ever seen or heard performed?
Cami: My favorite show is Legally Blonde, the musical. Elle Woods is one of my dream roles!

Crofton Patch: What do you like to do besides performing?
Cami: I love dancing, which I study at Stageworkz. I also like spending time with my friends and teaching piano lessons.

Crofton Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Cami: I'd love to continue with dance and theater. It would be really amazing to get to Broadway someday.
