Wildcats' Season Ends in Playoff Loss to North Point

The Arundel boys fell 89-64 to top-seeded North Point.

The Arundel High Wildcats' hopes for a state basketball championship were dashed Friday night in Waldorf, as the boys team fell to North Point High School in the Class 4A East regional final. 

The Wildcats lost 89-64, as North Point won its third straight regional crown. 

Keaton Mack led the Wildcats with 16 points, according to The Capital.

Arundel finished the season one win shy of a regional title, but will be remembered for running through the regular season without a loss to an opponent in Anne Arundel County. 

North Point will now play Eleanor Roosevelt High School in the state semifinals, to be played at Comcast Center in College Park.
