Can You Catch the Chick-fil-A Santa Cow?

The Chick-fil-A in the Village at Waugh Chapel is running a treasure hunt around Crofton Gambrills to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas.

 

There’s a treasure hunt happening around our community.

is hosting a “Twelve Days of Christmas” treasure hunt around Crofton Gambrills for a miniature stuffed cow.

The contest started Monday and runs though Dec. 24. During this time, contestants visit the restaurant’s Facebook page for daily clues as to where the stuffed cow is hidden.

Chick-fil-A teamed up with area businesses to bring awareness to local commerce, according to marketing director Joy Hutter.

“Our fans can win prizes and, of course, chicken,” she said in an email.

“Once you figure out the clue, go to the business and say, ‘Eat Mor Chicken.’ If you are the first person to the secret location you will receive a cow with directions on how to redeem your prize,” Hutter said.

Since there’s a mad dash to be first, Hutter advises people to stay safe on the roads.

“Of course, be sure to obey traffic signs [and] speed limits,” she said.
