Hot Tub Depot Offers Gift Wrapping to Fight Lupus

The Crofton small business hopes to make a big impact in the fight against lupus with its third annual fundraiser now underway.

Have a present to be wrapped? Bring it to the on Concord Boulevard where now through Dec. 23, your items will be wrapped by store employees and community volunteers.

“We have a lot of down time here in December so this gives us something positive to do that helps the community,” said Hot Tub Depot Owner Keri Poole.

The store is in the middle of its third annual Gift Wrapping for lupus fundraiser with gift wrapping done in exchange for a donation to help three causes.

According to the Hot Tub Depot’s Facebook page, the project will benefit the Lupus Foundation of AmericaIcing Smiles Inc. and Arundel Volunteer Fire Department. Volunteers are welcome to come chip in to help wrap gifts.

“They can help in all different ways. Just drop off a roll of wrapping paper, or give a couple hours. We’ll take any help,” Poole said. “We need more help closer to Christmas since that’s when the crowds pick up.”
