Patch Gives Back and So Can You

Local Patch editors participate in Patch's Give 5 volunteer effort and we help you find some opportunities to pitch in locally.

This Thursday, local Patch editors will be scouring Jonas Green Park at the base of the U.S. Naval Academy Bridge as part of the company's Give 5 Day volunteer campaign.

Patch gives employees five days each year to volunteer in their communities throughout the country. Patch also gives 5 percent of its advertising space, free of charge, to local charities from local communities.

For this Give 5 Day, Patch editors from Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties will be working together to clean up trash and debris from the popular park.

Last year, Patch also worked at the park, as well for the the Rotary Club of Parole's Books for International Goodwill (BIG) annual book drive.
