Steven Spiegel April 19, 2014 at 07:16 am
I heard it all associating with the terrorist group was like a video game . This young man should beRead More sentenced for the same amount of time as the rest . Know he can get out of prison with a bad taste in his mouth and blow up some Americans . After 911 there should be no deals made with terrorists .

Must be one of those tea party members again, right democrats? Someone tell me again why I can'tRead More carry in Maryland like they can in 37 other states. Now remember we have passed 25,000 gun laws in this country already and for some odd reason criminals will just not obey the law, strange huh? I am sure he had a licensed handgun and it only had 7 bullets or less in it.
August London Lane April 18, 2014 at 10:39 am
OMG..I am famous.. This was me. I swung the bike and wanted to get him in a hold and then get hisRead More gun... For the most part pretty accurate details, all but..... He was the one swinging(like a fool that cant fight and by the way he didn't try and fight the other guy that was NOT carrying a bunch of crap) I was swatting his hands cuz i had like 3 bags on me. When i dropped them to start his career ending beating he took off . LIL punk is lucky my back is all jacked up or he would have a mongoose tattoo on his forehead then the handle bars shoved up his ...well you know. Hope he reads this. cuz next time Ill be prepared..GO laurel. just when i thought getting outta PG county was a good idea. Side note. IF You gotta gun ..USE it.... This guy is full of crap. I'm surprised crap didn't leak out of the bullet wound. He was oobviouslyRead More accidentally shot by a known person and the gun is probably not registered or the accidental shooter may not want to be involved so he made up a Swiss cheese hole story to cover either his butt or the shooters
Anne Arundel police hosted an online chat this week to answer parents' questions and shared tips about the dangers of kids "sexting." File|Patch
Chuck Burton April 12, 2014 at 12:09 pm
You have to start a long time before 8 - 10, Joe. But don't put it in terms of "cants".Read More Put it in terms of what is smart behavior to protect themselves and others. And coach them if they make mistakes. Don't punish unless they harm someone else.
Joe Van Deuren April 12, 2014 at 03:20 pm
While I would agree that talking to a child about driving habits prior to the age of 8 would be fineRead More - talking them about sexting - would be inappropriate. More appropriated would be "respect for their body and themselves". This is the basics of "good touch, bad touch" education. In regard to punishment - teaching / discipline is far more important and a subject I have written on in my blog and school. Consequences (natural) as the result of any behavior should be allowed as that is a part of real life, good or bad. It is a great learning tool. When we do not allow our children to have consequences and failure, we are making them less resilient and weaker rather than preparing them for the future.
Steven Spiegel April 13, 2014 at 08:17 pm
I am going on 50 and when I was a teen I was into a lot of bad things such as Drugs . I took myRead More first hit of acid at age 13 and I loved it . I Also smoked weed on a daily bases and also smoked PCP and was busted at age 14 for having them in school . That was the first and last time I got busted not because I stopped doing drugs I just got smarter or more Stupid . We never dreamed of the things these children have now days . Not even in our wildest drug induced comas . Kids don't realize how much danger there is on the internet .

This is a terrible tragedy but I don't consider Bethesda as a Baltimore suburb but a WashingtonRead More suburb. Why should this story get a mention on this site ?
ladypoet April 14, 2014 at 01:14 pm
Catch him and do the same as he did to his family. This was such a heinous crime. Who could killRead More your own mother, children and the mother of your children? A no good demon!
Patrick Carter April 14, 2014 at 02:29 pm
Find him and fry him. He should die regardless of his age. Italy probably won't help because of theRead More Amanda Knox case. I say govt should put a hit on him.

Justin case April 11, 2014 at 11:15 am
He probably retired from the state department under an alias. They didn't even notice he was missingRead More for an entire week so I'm sure they wouldn't notice if he came back to work as Juan Rodriguez or some other alias. Bunch of idiots. The FBI must finally be sick of this guy embarrassing them for 38 years
Pam Hamburg April 11, 2014 at 04:40 pm
Your government agencies at work....HA! But cops can get away with beating an unarmed or mentallyRead More challenged or mentally ill person to DEATH. What a world.
