They should considering they keep managing to 'hike up' the costs. Personal experience as well lastRead More month was PEPCO sending me a bill that was triplicate to my usual usage. Argument was "well, ya know, we have had a 'cold winter and snow". Didn't accept that nor their 'PR offer' to come to my home and perform 'energy-efficient' check of my home. Home is well-beyond such! Turned out that, even though employee had come on-site and supposedly taken 'actual reading', he or she manually documented erroneous kilowatt usage. The indirect (far from sufficient) excuse and apology I received from PEPCO was "well, you do realize we ALL make mistakes?"! Hey, not on my watch! Hummm!
Sharon April 17, 2014 at 11:11 am
Moral of story above! Please, folks, check your bills closely! I hope there were not 'too many'Read More out there who just assumed it was "cold winter and snow" or didn't fall back on philosophy "you can't fight City Hall...particularly those families already struggling to 'make ends meet' and to those elderly folks on a limited pensions! Though PEPCO believes itself to be, they are not 'infallible'.

Doesn't really matter Marty Warren...we are dealing with a corrupt judicial court system that isRead More effected by big money first and foremost. Big money trumps violent animals...keeping them alive for extended periods on time pays very well to the "for profit " jailing system. The longer they keep em the more money they make at the expense of taxpayers. Truth and justice takes a back seat to profit margins.
