Arundel High School’s prom is scheduled for May 17, while South River will hold its prom on May 18. Both will be held at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
In a Washington Post analysis of the most challenging schools, South River was ranked 7th in Maryland, while Arundel came in 23rd in rankings.
The Arundel boys lacrosse team also won to maintain a perfect record on the years.
Bre Bolden was named to the Baltimore Sun’s All-Metro basketball team.
The school will receive a $10,000 Verizon Foundation grant.
State Farm is looking for a new agent in the Crofton area.
Sophomore Anna Sappington received the second-place grand award at the Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
