Chamber to Hold Anniversary Bash at Academy Yard
The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 50th year with a bash on the site of the former Nevamar facility.
The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce is turning 50. The chamber will hold a celebration Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the site of the former Nevamar plant, near construction of the new Flats170 at Academy Yard apartments. Tables for the outdoor event are sold out, but it's still possible to buy a standing-room only ticket for $15. Admission includes BBQ, burgers, popcorn shrimp, and salads. There will also be a cash bar. Casual attire and comfortable shoes are encouraged. To attend the event, park at the lot across Telegraph Road.
