BankAnnapolis is now open for business at the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. The 3,500 square-foot bank held a ribbon cutting Monday with managers and local officials. The bank will be managed by Tracy Smith, a vice president who has 23 years of banking experience, according to a press release. The bank is located near the new Wegmans and Target stores, and has three drive-thru lanes and a drive-up ATM. This is the eighth BankAnnapolis branch. Operating hours for the bank are as follows: Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Fridays: 8:30 am to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays: 8:30 a.m. to noon. Drive-thru hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. See also:

BankAnnapolis has broke ground on a new location in the quickly developing Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. According to a press release, the construction began on April 18. BankAnnapolis will join Wegmans Food Market, Target and Dick's Sporting Goods, among many others. The bank is expected to open in the fall. "This is a natural expansion of our existing footprint, one that will enable us to broaden our brand and extend our geographic reach into the Crofton/Waugh Chapel market," said Richard M. Lerner, chairman and CEO of BankAnnapolis, in a press release.
