Burger King Offers 55 Cent Burgers for Whopper's Birthday

In honor of the Whopper's 55th anniversary, you can buy one of Burger King's iconic burgers and get your second one for 55 cents.

Whether you like your Whopper with just ketchup or loaded with the works, you can have it your way for 55 cents today through Sunday at the Burger Kings nationwide.  In honor of the 55th Anniversary of the iconic Whopper, Burger King is offering the deal through Sunday. Enjoy an Original Whopper for just 55 cents, when you purchase any Whopper, including the new Wisconsin White Cheddar Whopper or the spicy Angry Whopper, available for a limited time only. Burger King Gets a Freestyle Machine

The restaurant at the Village at Waugh Chapel now offers more than 100 different beverages from a single machine.

I went to lunch yesterday at Burger King and noticed a new beverage machine, replacing the traditional dispenser. The restuarant now has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, which offers a selection of more than 100 different drinks from a single spot.  The machine has 22 different core choices—including Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper and Barq's Root Beer—and then you can select special flavors of each.  Burger King is one of the few places in the area to have a Freestyle machine. There's one nearby at Firehouse Subs, also located at the Village at Waugh Chapel. Several locations in Annapolis have the machine, and a Burger King on Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena has one.  What's your favorite soft drink?
