Crofton Multiple Burglary Suspects Arrested in West Virginia

Albert Jason Hildreth and Veronica Nichole Fay are in custody in connection to several burglaries around Crofton according to Anne Arundel County Police. They are awaiting extradition from West Virginia.

Anne Arundel County Police confirmed two suspects have been caught in connection to several burglaries around Crofton.  According to a police release, Albert Jason Hildreth, 32 and Veronica Nichole Fay, 21, were stopped Nov. 9 near Morgantown, WV. The Journal reports Fay, a Prince Frederick resident, was arrested during a traffic stop following a disturbance at a hotel in Berkeley County, WV. According to The Journal article, Fay was charged with “being a fugitive from justice” in connection to breaking and entering charges in Surry County, NC and several burglary and theft incidents here in Anne Arundel County. Police: Lower Gambrills Daytime Burglary Alert

Anne Arundel County Police warn residents of a spike in residential burglaries around Lower Gambrills and Davidsonville.

Several home invasions and burglaries have taken place in the Lower Gambrills and Davidsonville areas since Nov. 8.  Anne Arundel County Police are asking residents to be on alert for suspicious activity in their communities. According to a news release from Western District Police, they are investigating the following eight burglaries that occurred in broad daylight at single-family homes around the area: The incidents all happened in the middle of the day. "This is presumably when the residents have left for work," according to the news release. Many of the incidents happened in communities with ample mature tree growth surrounding the houses, according to the release. This possibly provided concealment for the burglars to enter …

CPD: Urby Drive Suspects Possibly Connected to Several Crofton Burglaries

New details released in Monday's Urby Drive break-in. Crofton Police Department officials said the suspects may be connected to four other burglaries from October.

UPDATE POSTED November 9, 2011 An update on Monday’s Urby Drive home burglary. The Crofton Police Department has released new information on the suspects and possible vehicle they may have used to leave the scene of the crime. Monday a homeowner came home between 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. and realized she had apparently interrupted the break-in. The woman reportedly noticed the door panel was kicked out and the door was ajar. The homeowner reportedly told officers she saw what’s being described as “the shadow of a figure” running from the home. According to CPD, several things in the home were ransacked. Police Investigating Four Crofton Burglaries

Tuesday four burglary incidents happened on Klein Court, Kent Fort Lane, Nantucket Drive and Shaftsbury Avenue. Local law enforcement is sending an advisory out to Crofton-Gambrills residents.

Anne Arundel County Police are investigating several burglaries around Crofton. The following four burglary incidents happened Tuesday according to an advisory from the police from Western District: 2800 Block of Klein Court 1600 Block of Kent Fort Lane 2300 Block of Nantucket Drive 1700 Block of Shaftsbury Avenue The burglaries reportedly happened while residents were coming home from being away at work and school. Detectives said the intruders entered through the rear door in three of the cases. In one incident, the suspect entered through a window. Burglary Suspect Busted at Big Fish Grille

Police find Severna Park man opening a safe at the restaurant early Friday morning.

Police arrested David Wayne Weinstein in connection to an attempted burglary at 1:52 a.m. Friday at the Big Fish Grill on Route 3 south in Crofton, according to a police report. Officers responded to an alarm at the restaurant and upon arrival, found Weinstein, 43, of Severna Park, attempting to open a safe, according to the police report. He was arrested and taken to the Western District police station where he was charged with 2nd degree burglary. WTOP: Crofton Peeping Tom Sentenced 10 Years

The man at the center of the December peeping tom case was sentenced 10 years according to a WTOP report.

UPDATED at 11:00PM: Charles Novak, 35, was sentenced 10 years behind bars for multiple burglary charges according to a WTOP report. Wednesday’s Arundel County Circuit Court online docket indicated Novak was charged with multiple charges of burglary and peeping tom. Prosecutors said Novak took hundreds of nude pictures of victims around Crofton, according to WTOP. He reportedly had 2,282 video clips of 260 women and some of the women’s undergarments according to WTOP. Read more on the WTOP report and victims accounts here. Novak was on house arrest for charges related to a December 2010 incident. On Dec. 27, 2010, police responded to a burglary report on Fairlawn Court. Police Search for Suspects after Burglary in Davidsonville

Two were allegedly robbed in an armed burglary attempt at Kris Leigh Assisted Living Center in Davidsonville.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, officers responded to the report of a burglary and armed robbery at the Kris Leigh Assisted Living Center, located at 3913 Birdsville Road, in Davidsonville, shortly after 3a.m. Saturday morning. According to the police press, it was reported that two suspects, one armed with a handgun, kicked in a door to gain access to the facility.  The suspects allegedly demanded two employees to show them where valuables were stored, after which they kicked in another door to an office area.  No items were reported stolen from the facility, however, the report indicated that the two caretakers were robbed of their personal property of an undisclosed amount before the suspects left the scene.  No injuries were …
