The fall version of Crofton's biggest community event is back. The Crofton Festival on the Green will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Crofton Country Club. Formerly known as the Crofton Craft Fair, the event will feature live music, craft and food vendors and activities for the kids. It's all put on by the Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce. If you're planning to attend this year's festival, feel free to upload your photos from the event here. In the meantime, check out Patch's photo gallery from the spring festival in April.

Perfect weather was on tap for the craft fair this year. The Crofton Town Club has been coordinating the craft fair since 1996, holding it the last Saturday in April and September. In prior years, the fair was held on the area at the Village Green and then eventually moved to the grounds of the Crofton Country Club. This year, the event was organized by the volunteer efforts of Erika Cadori and Alisa Adams, with the help of Evelyn Harris. Many hours go into setting up vendors and organizing the space. This year, in an effort to give back to our community, there were large bins at each entrance for canned goods which will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank after the fair. As with every year, all profits from the event will be donated to …
