Wednesday Movies Benefit 'Grants 4 Teachers'
Movies for just $2 shown on Sept. 12 at the new Gambrills theater will benefit the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County and its Grants 4 Teachers program.
The excitement is building for the Friday grand opening of the new movie theater in Gambrills and preview events allow residents to get a peek inside, catch a flick for just $2, and help local nonprofits. The theater is the latest opening following Bed, Bath & Beyond, Starbucks (with a drive-thru) and the Greene Turtle at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. The movies on Wednesday, with shows starting as early as 11:20 a.m. and running as late as 10:10 p.m., will benefit the Grants 4 Teachers program of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC). I'm on the Severna Park Patch and I checked my history all the way back to September 4th. No post in regards to this going on. I check my email everyday. If it was posted I missed it.
