Wednesday Movies Benefit 'Grants 4 Teachers'
Movies for just $2 shown on Sept. 12 at the new Gambrills theater will benefit the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County and its Grants 4 Teachers program.
The excitement is building for the Friday grand opening of the new movie theater in Gambrills and preview events allow residents to get a peek inside, catch a flick for just $2, and help local nonprofits. The theater is the latest opening following Bed, Bath & Beyond, Starbucks (with a drive-thru) and the Greene Turtle at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. The movies on Wednesday, with shows starting as early as 11:20 a.m. and running as late as 10:10 p.m., will benefit the Grants 4 Teachers program of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC). I'm on the Severna Park Patch and I checked my history all the way back to September 4th. No post in regards to this going on. I check my email everyday. If it was posted I missed it. Some people do not get the newspaper. Please Cat don't be so judgmental. I'm sure there were others who would have loved to have been able to go to the movies and missed the opportunity to go.
