Enter Patch's 'Deck the House' Contest

Did you decorate your house for the holidays this year? Enter our "Deck the House" contest and you could win $100,000 for your local school district and $500 to pay your electric bills!

Patch is launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country. If this sounds like your house in Crofton or Gambrills, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16 by clicking here. A Columbia home in Howard County was named a national finalist last year. Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from those, pick one grand prize winner. Patch will pay up to $500 of the utility bill for each finalist, while our national winner will have $100,000 donated to his or her local school district. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to win a $100,000 gift to the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Patch.com is launching a nationwide contest to find the best dressed home in its Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached. Here’s how the contest works. Beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing through Dec. 26, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the site. During that same time period you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home. Get Ready to ‘Deck the House’ for Cash

We know you love to decorate for the holidays, so why not earn money for Crofton area schools and a chance win one month of free electricity for your display?

Here's a chance to show your holiday and school spirit from your front yard in the Patch Deck the Halls contest, starting Dec. 8. Get your nativity scenes, inflatable Santas and reindeer ready. You will be able to upload photos and videos of your very own winter wonderland. We want to see your decked out house. Plus your friends and neighbors get to click and choose the best decorated house in Crofton-Gambrills. The winner will go on to represent Crofton Patch in the national competition. The winner of that contest will earn $100,000 for his or her local school system. The national winner will also have the home's electricity bill covered for December.
