The sporting goods and fitness specialty retailer hosted a three-day celebration in Gambrills.
Dick's Sporting Goods celebrated the opening of its newest location in Gambrills with a three-day celebration starting Friday. One of the first stores to open in Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, this Dick's Sporting Goods is the tenth of its kind in Maryland. "We've been really well received," said Bobbie Bardzik, community marketing manager for Dick's Sporting Goods. "We're really happy to be here and be a part of the community." The retailer is the latest to open in the new Waugh Chapel Towne Centre.
The Dick's Sporting Goods store in Waugh Chapel Towne Centre is scheduled to open Wednesday, followed by a three-day grand opening celebration starting Friday morning. A ribbon-cutting is set for 8 a.m. Friday at the new store at 1417 South Main Chapel Way. The first customers who visit the store will receive a free Reebok T-shirt while supplies last. The store will give out wristbands starting at 8 a.m. Saturday to those who want to meet Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith and Washington Redskins defensive back Josh Wilson.
