Crofton Man Arrested Again in Drug Seizure

While free and awaiting trial in a separate case, police say Casey Paul Davis was arrested on charges of drug possession and intent to distribute. He has been arrested at least three times this year.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Crofton man on drug charges, days before he was scheduled to appear in court on similar charges from separate cases in January and February.  Police said they arrested Casey Paul Davis on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. after executing a search warrant on his home at Gunwood Place in Crofton. Police said they found more than 35 grams of marijuana worth $712, 1.4 grams of suspected heroin with a value of $168, and $523 in cash. Thursday's arrest was Davis' third this year on charges relating to drug possession and distribution.  Davis was also convicted in 2008 on charges of driving without a valid license and sentenced to 60 days of house arrest. Traffic Stop Leads to Gun, Drug Arrest in Crofton

Police say they found a loaded gun, suspected Oxycodone pills and other drugs in the car of a Crofton man.

A traffic stop on Route 3 led police to arrest a Crofton man on multiple gun and drug charges on Thursday evening. According to a police statement, at 10:19 p.m. members of the Western District’s Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit stopped a vehicle on Route 3 South near Johns Hopkins Road in Crofton for speeding. A consensual search of the vehicle by the driver led police to find a loaded 9mm Rufer with 15 rounds in the backseat. Police also found 17 suspected Oxycodone pills with an approximate street value of $425 and a digital scale. The driver, Casey Paul Davis, 32, of 1700 block of Gunwood Place Crofton, was arrested and transported to the Western police station for processing. An additional search then led detectives to…

Ridiculous, We need to focus on violent crimes these petty crimes like not having insurance drug possession is just what our fine legal establishment uses to make money. Insurance is against the constitution also a person who wants to use drugs/narcotics should be free to do as he/she pleases with any luck the drug addict problem will solve it's self.   more ›
