Roundz Gourmet Market is celebrating with May Day baskets and the introduction of a signature sandwich.

On Tuesday, the Garden Club of Old Towne Annapolis will host the 56th annual May Day basket competition but you don't have to live or own a business in downtown Annapolis to celebrate the special day. Roundz Gourmet Market in Gambrills features eye-catching May Day baskets along with a new signature sandwich—tomato, basil and mozzarella—on your choice of bread with homemade regular or sweet potato chips for $8. They use these special steamer machines that heat the meat and cheese and turn it into mouth watering bliss," wrote Patch user Dan in the comments. One of the Firehouse favorites is the "Hook & Ladder" sandwich, which features smoked turkey breast, honey ham and Monterey Jack cheese.
