South River High Leads Local Schools in Plunge Donations
South River High School currently holds a small lead over Arundel High in fundraising for the MSP Polar Bear Plunge.
Students at South River High are gearing up to take the plunge on Friday and they are making a big impact—the SnoHawks currently lead all schools in fundraising for the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge. Students from Arundel High aren't too far behind. More than 12,000 people participated in the 17th annual Plungefest at Sandy Point State Park on Saturday and raised more $2 million. Students at Anne Arundel County Schools will plunge on Friday. Arundel High School has in recent years been tops among area schools when it comes to donations for the plunge.
