Police Charge Bank Robbery Suspect After Chase
Police said Alexandria Mary Miller used a gun to rob the PNC Bank in Crofton.
Police arrested a Bowie woman who they said used a gun to rob the PNC Bank in Crofton on Wednesday. According to a press release, police responded Wednesday at 11:12 a.m. to the PNC Bank located in the 1100 block of Route 3 North in Crofton for an armed robbery in progress. Officers learned a female suspect approached the teller, implied she had a handgun and demanded money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled in her SUV. Several officers from other jurisdictions helped search for the suspect. At 11:24 a.m., a Crofton officer and a Prince George’s County officer located a suspect in the parking lot at Sacred Heart Church at 16501 Annapolis Rd. in Bowie.
